Few and Far Between
Good People,
...what can I say? We are half-way through this pregnancy and this is the first entry I've made in the blog since 7 weeks. It's not my fault. This is a direct result of the difference between maintaining a blog with a 3 year old in the house and maintaining a blog with a 4 year old and an infant in the house. I've also recently come out of my mourning the retirement of the greatest sports icon in the history of civilization, Brett Favre. If my infrequent posts have not met your needs, I apologize but this is why:
Now, if you can look at this little angel-face and tell her she's going to get less time and attention because a blog must be updated... well, sir, you have more cackles than me.
I'm writing to say that Jen has been suspiciously well during this pregnancy. So well that I am beginning to question her fortitude during Sophie's pregnancy. We've not been to urgent care once (!), we've not had any day-long, down-and-out migraines and Jen hasn't thrown up at all. I am also writing to share the pictures we received yesterday from the 20 week ultrasound. Jen is actually past week 20. I don't know how far past and the delivery date was moved up as of yesterday to August 7th so you can do some math and figure it out. We are not finding out the gender for this one. I hope everyone is well and I will get at least one more update out before young Caliope is born.
