Looking East

Hello good people,

My wife looks like she's been eaten by her own belly. Don't get me wrong - her beauty represents the pinnacle of God's creation here on earth but that baby is getting BIG. Jen has been experiencing lower back pain but I attribute that to her consistent policy on the issue of housecleaning even while entering her 3rd trimester. Yes, I offer to do more but there are some things Jen will not allow anyone else to do and honestly folks, she is a testament to every stereotype, either real or in jest, of German efficiency. She whips through 406 Lake Drive (a lovely lakeside 4-bedroom home with open space and a beautiful view) with a vacuum cleaner that weighs almost as much as her, and almost certainly more when she isn't pregnant, like a ravenous Rottweiler in a butcher shop in spite of the fact her view of the floor has been reduced by 30% thanks to little Curtina. One thing is clear to me: the house (which has 3 bathrooms and a 3 car garage) will not falter on her watch.

Which brings me to some other news: The pregnancy has not offered much excitement lately so to spice life up a bit we have decided to put the Winsted manor on the market. We had planned on doing this no sooner than the Spring of 2008 but thanks to my impetuousness, we found ourselves looking at some homes in the Minnetrista/Mound area last weekend and, of course, we found 2 that we absolutely love.

Now, this may not be much news after all as our agent informed us yesterday that selling a $300k home (that features granite countertops and hardwood floors in the kitchen and dining room) in Winsted is not the same as selling a home in the Cities ~ translation: our home could be on the market for some time. In fact, some of the recent market comps in Winsted have been on the market over 300 days!! We'll see what happens.
I don't know when the next Dr. visit is and I also don't know when our visit with the specialty clinic to get more 2-D pics is but here is a recent belly pic to hold you over...
